Royal Traveler #470 is a set often seen on eBay. Very nicely made wood tiles and, in my opinion a great travel set because it is so light- weight. They usually come with 164 tiles; in older sets there are no jokers, but there are lots of flowers. Just put all the goodies in a great bag and you are set to go!

This set has 164 wood tiles, numerous coins for betting, a bettor and a pair of dice. There are also 4 racks that have removable posts, and a book by Dorothy Meyerson. This one just happens to be 1969/1970.

The tiles measure 1 1/4" x 7/8" x 1/4", they are embossed, the designs painted and they appear to have a clear coat over them. The box measures 16 1/4" x 7 3/4" x 2". The racks are 16" long. Embossing in this set is "pressed" not "carved".

There are several labels out there with similar styles, so I am thinking that there is one manufacturer selling to several labels. See Michael Stanfield and Gibsons from England.  A & L Manufacturing also sold catalin tiles under the labels "Royal" and "Royal Depth Control".
