This version from Chad Valley is in a typical cardboad box with 4 trays, one of those trays is a bit deeper and is divided in half to hold 36 tiles plus the betting coins and dice. This particular set has a dice shaker but I think that was added by the last owner. There is also a booklet. The tiles are the same as the other cardboard box version, wooden blocks with the face carved out to hold a paper decal of the design. The wood is painted bright Chinese Red. The label on the box top is the same for both versions. The tiles measure 1 1/4" x 13/16" x 1/2", the designs are paper decals glued to painted wood. The box measures 8 1/4" x 5 3/4" x 3 3/8". The book that belongs with a set like this measures 7 1/4" x 4 7/8", it has 24 pages. |
