The name on this set comes from the book which I am sure is original. This is a new set (cellophane still on tiles), it is from the late 1900s or early 2000s. Nothing special about it just part of the collection however, it does demonstrate what very contemporary designs are. You see these on new bone and bamboo sets coming from China today and advertised as 'antique'.
All 148 tiles are solid bamboo. There are wind disks, dice and betting sticks - all are plastic.
The tiles measure 1 3/16" x 13/16" x 5/16". The box measures 13" x 7 1/2" x 1 1/4". The booklet measures 7 1/2" x 5 1/4" and has 26 pages. |
