This set comes in a great pyrographic box with a neat dragon design on the sliding lid. There is a nice basket wave design on the bottom of the box. Tiles are embossed and stamped wood, the box is divided into two sections for tiles and wood betting sticks. There is a little 4 page pamphlet with this set, the rules are for Ma Chiang (pronounced Ma Jong)..
Moy Gam also makes a pyrographic box with 5 drawers. The tiles are identical to these except there is green on the tiles. I really think they are made by the same company.
The tiles measure 1 3/16" x 13/16" x 1/2", the designs are embossed (lightly) and painted. The box measures 7 7/8" x 5 5/8" x 3 5/8". The books measure 7 " x 5 1/8" and has 4 pages. |
