This might be another promotional set, it is identical to the set called "Chinese Game", the "Bavarian Set" and all the Milton Bradley sets. Since Milton Bradley produced so many sets maybe they also produced these promotional ones. Typical cardboard box with four
tile trays and four smaller trays to hold the betting sticks and dice. There are 144 wood tiles, this one looks like it is made like a puzzle (when puzzles are made; pictures are first glued to a cardboard backing and then cut into puzzle shapes), the designs are first printed on paper, then glued to the wood and then cut into tiles. The betting sticks are various colored wood dowel type sticks. The tiles measure 1 3/8" x 13/16" x 15/32", the box measures 7 3/4" x 5 1/4" x 3 3/8". There was no booklet with this set. |
