From time to time during the collection process you run across one treasure that is just delightful. I love this set, it's great to look at, in wonderful condition and it's just
different from anything else I have found. I am sure the tiles have never been played with. There is also a
Casein set from this company.
There are 144 wood tiles, numerous little brightly colored plastic betting sticks, 4 wonderfully designed and colored wind disks and a pair of dice. The box is faux leather (embossed paper), with a great embossed dragon on the outside and a flocked lining in the top of the box that is also embossed with the dragon. The lining in the bottom of the case is paper with a wonderful Chinese
motif.
The tiles measure 1 3/8" x 7/8" x 7/16", they are made like puzzles, the designs are printed on paper, glued to the wood and then cut. The box measures 13 1/8" x 8 7/8" x 1 1/4". The booklet that comes with the set is a bright yellow with that wonderful dragon on the front. |
