A nice little bamboo set with 148 tiles, bone betting sticks, bone dice and a bone Mingg. There is also a Black Tin set with the same design on the box. I have seen boxes like this with a label on them "Tinoe Co.", I think this is the company that made the boxes not the tile manufacturers. The only information I have been able to find on the internet is a company in the Philippines.
The faces of these tiles are carved and painted.
The tiles measure 1 5/32" x 13/16" x 17/32", The box measures 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 3 1/2". The book measures 7 3/8" x 4 3/4", it has 12 pages. |
